Information to become a Hardloop Athlete
Join Hardloop Endurance
Hardloop is made up of a team of coaches specializing in a number of performance attributes from nutrition, physical therapy, performance psychology, track racing, cross country, road running, triathlon, marathon, mountain/trail to ultra marathon. This allows for specialized training for our team of athletes across the world. Below you will find details of what we do and how to join if you are interested in becoming a Hardloop athlete.
Mission
To provide high-performance training to athletes of all abilities with health, enjoyment, and longevity as key focuses.
Overview
The Hardloop coaching team collaborate and assist each athlete's assigned coach to write training plans specifically for our athletes onto an online share calendar training application called Final Surge. This platform, included with the subscription, also feeds through your workout data (activity recording device required) and allows the athlete and coach to communicate, review, and plan workouts. Athlete/Coach catch-ups happen as much as needed via phone, text, video call, and/or Final Surge messaging to check progress and make changes and adjustments. The program is currently $130 per month per athlete for running and $175 for triathlon training which includes a custom training program, strength/injury prevention recommendations, maintenance or race-specific training, unlimited communications (no extra fees), and club membership where we host a number of virtual and in-person information sessions and forums. We work with the athlete's individual abilities and goals, time availability, and type of response to the training to make it specific for each athlete. Additional services are available as needed including injury rehabilitation, strength programs, and performance nutrition or diet consultations.

Athletes located or visiting the Houston/Katy area will also have options to join our group training for in-person sessions.
Next Steps
Upon completion of the above steps, a Hardloop coach will reach out to you to schedule your onboarding call and send you a coaching invitation on Final Surge. Please email coach@hardloop.run with any questions.

Jason found his love for running with high school cross country, and ran his first trail in 1999. Over the years he's assisted in directing races, and hosted races himself. In 2014, after years of road racing, he rediscovered his love for the trails. His passion ever since has been trail and ultra running. For about a decade he could be found helping others achieve big goals by crewing and pacing others at trail races. His accomplishments include everything from sub 24 hour 100 milers, to DFL, to 200 mile race finishes. He has raced in hot, cold, mountains, deserts, and mud along the way, all while training in the flatlands of the Houston Texas region. As a coach he strives to help you achieve everything from your first trail race to goals so big they're scary. He believes in coaching his athletes using the latest data and science available, and that every athlete's plan should be made to personally fit them in their desired goal.
